Into The Ocean

Into the Ocean is a black and white landscape photography project of the ocean piers in California. There are more than thirty piers along the California coast and every one is distinct and different! Browse the gallery below or shop the Into The Ocean collection.

This project was recently featured in Geo Lounge an information site about all things geography for my use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in mapping the locations. The map shows the piers I have located and the ones I have visited (in green) and it will continue to change as the project progresses. As you can see there are many California piers left for me to visit. Stay tuned!
